True to tradition, the Dutch studbook KWPN held their yearly stallion licensing in the Brabanthallen in’s-Hertogenbosch, but this year without any spectators. 48 jumping stallions and 44 dressage stallions were approved, and a total of 11 were named premium stallions

During the Brexit transition period the WBFSH member studbooks from the UK have been facing potential challenges, but it has now been announced that the European Commission has accepted their application for third country listing of DEFRA-recognised breeding bodies under Article 34 of Regulation (EU) 2016/1012 which means that UK breeders can continue to trade with EU breed societies or breeding operations on the same equivalent terms as before Brexit
