The new world champion Woodlander Farouche is very interestingly bred. Her pedigree makes everything about the world championships come together and she is the living proof of performance breeding. Woodlander Farouche is by the former world champion, Fürst Heinrich, and another former world champion, Dimaggio, as her dam sire. Her great dam sire is Caprimond and the dam line has produced the famous stallion Florestan I, who is also the sire of Fürst Heinrich.
– I like to line breed, says breeder and owner Lynne Crowden, who runs the Woodlander Stud with her husband Dave. They still own the dam which is also in training with Michael George Eilberg and currently competing at Prix St. George level.
Woodlander Farouche had an embryo foal in 2010 as well as this year and after the championships it is the plan to produce another E.T. foal for 2012.
The runner-up in the championships is the mare Damon’s Divene. She is by the former double world champion Damon Hill. The bronze medal winner Bretton Woods is by the former world championships finalist and the tendency continues through the rest of the finalist which have sires which are former world championship finalists like Florencio, Painted Black, Sandro Hit, San Remo, French Kiss og Fürst Heinrich.
