Danish judge Susanne Baarup expressed her thrill about judging in Verden and described as a privilige to be able to do so. "The horses were very well prepared and super presented in this exciting finals", she said.

With a smashing score of 9,88 the British Hanoverian mare Woodlander Farouche by Fürst Heinrich x Dimaggio won the finals of the world championships for six-year-olds ridden by British Michael George Eilberg. The outstanding mare, who won the 2011 finals for 5-five-year-olds, earned a clear 10 for her perfect walk as well as for the general impression. Her proud breeder and co-owner Lynn Crowden told the press that Farouche has raised the bar in her breeding programme and that she keeps breeding 12 foals a year - hoping for another one which can match the quality of Farouche. Rider and co-owner Michael George Eilberg said that Woodlander Farouche is the last horse he rides every day - "Otherwise the others do not feel any good".

The silver medal went to the KWPN stallion Borencio by Florencio I x Lord Sinclair I ridden by the successful young horse rider Dutch Emmelie Scholtens. The combination earned a total score of 9.1. Third place and bronze medal went to a German bred and Swedish owned horse ridden by a Dane. The Oldenburg stallion Sir Donnerhall II by Sandro Hit x Donnerhall was ridden by Danish Thomas Sigtenbjerggaard and earned a 9.6 for trot and a total of 8.78.

President Jan Pedersen said that it is almost said that is over now because it is such an enjoyable show.
