The WBFSH studbook and breeder rankings for dressage, eventing and show jumping horses are based on validated FEI results from 1 October 2018. So far, we have published the April rankings which include results up to 31 March 2019. Shortly, we will publish the May rankings.

The only studbook to appear in the Top 5 of all three disciplines of the latest studbook rankings is KWPN (Koninklijk Warmbloed Paardenstamboek Nederland) which take the lead in dressage and runner-up position in show jumping as well as eventing.

In the Top 10 of the most recent WBFSH breeder rankings in dressage we find two horses directly by the legendary KWPN stallion Jazz and two with the likely famous Ferro as dam sire. The dressage sire of the century, the late Oldenburg stallion Donnerhall has four sons, Dressage Royal, Damon Hill, De Niro and Don Schufro, that have each sired one of the Top 10 dressage horse.

We find the most remarkable and convincing coincidence of the latest WBFSH breeder rankings in the Top 10 of show jumping where nothing less than three horses are by the late stallion Chacco-Blue and three horses have the late SF stallion and Olympian horse Baloubet du Rouet as dam sire. Furthermore, the No. 1 horse, Ladriano Z is bred by Schockemoehle Pferdehaltung in Germany which is obviously run by the legendary horseman, Paul Schockemöhle who is also the man behind Gestüt Lewitz which is the breeder of the 4th and 6th ranked show jumping horses!
