KWPN supremacy in studbook rankings

Monday morning the WBFSH Annual Meetings 2018 had the General Assembly on the agenda and this was also the opportunity to honour the winners of the studbook rankings


Andries van Daalen from the KWPN received the studbook diplomas as the winner of all the diciplines of dressage, show jumping and evenint. The diplomas were handed over by WBFSH president Jan Pedersen.

As one of the highlights at the General Assembly the winners of the Rolex/WBFSH studbooks rankings are honored by the assembly. This year was a very special situation as all three studbook rankings in the disciplines of show jumping, dressage and eventing were won by the same studbook, namely the Royal Dutch Warmblood Studbook KWPN, represented by their new president Andries van Daalen.

 

New member of the board

German Thomas Nissen has retired form the WBFSH board as well as Canadian Chris Gould was also retiring but eligible for re-election. Chris Gould was re-elected for a 3-year period. German Eva-Maria Broomer and Norbert Camp were new nominations for election for a 3-year period. Norbert Camp was elected for the board.

 

Three new member studbooks

Out of three new applicants the Asociación Española de Criadores de Caballos Anglo-árabes (AECCAá was granted membership for further ratification next year. At last year’s General Assembly three studbooks were granted membership to be ratified at this year’s General Assembly, and all three are ratified. They are New Zealand Hanoverian Society (NZHS), The Lithuanian Horse Breeders Association (LHBA) og The New Zealand Warmblood Association (NZHB).
