King and Klimke won in Le Lion

British Kitty King and German Ingrid Klimke claimed the gold medals today at the finals for the FEI/WBFSH world championships for young eventing horses in Le Lion d'Angers, France

Once again, the FEI/WBFSH World Breeding Championships for Young Horses were held in the beautiful parc in Le Lion d'Angers, France.

Today at the show jumping arena two new world champions were named: British Kitty King with the 6 y.o. SF gelding Cristal Fontaine and German Ingrid Klimke with the 7 y.o. DSP mare Asha P.

 

6-year-olds:

 

Gold: Kitty King (GBR) and the SF gelding Cristal Fontaine by Chef Rouge x Griot de Mara.

Silver: Piggy French (GBR) and the ISH gelding Emerald Jonny by Waldo v. Dungen x Rubels S.

Bronze: Elizabeth Halliday-Sha (USA) and the ISH mare Cooley Moonshine by Cobra x Kings Master.

 

7-year-olds:

 

Gold: Ingrid Klimke (GER) and the DSP mare Asha P e. Askari x Heraldik xx (TB)

Silver: Tom Jackson (GBR) and the ISH gelding Capels Hollow Drift by Shannondale Sarco x Lucky Gift.

Bronze: Astier Nicolas (FRA) and the SF gelding Babylon de Gamma by Mylord Carth x Happy Vergoignan.
