Ready for the championships at Zangersheide

Nothing short of 714 young horses will be competing in the first qualifier today at the 2018 FEI/WBFSH World Young Horse Championships in Show Jumping in Lanaken, Belgium

At the stadion at Zangersheide in Lanaken, Belgium, more than 700 young horses will the competing in the first qualifier today at the 2018 FEI/WBFSH World Young Horse Championships in Show Jumping. The field of competitors consists of 237 five-year-olds (Alme Z Arena), 274 six-year-olds (Ramiro Z Arena) and 203 seven-year-olds (Ratina Z Arena).

On Friday all the young horse are competing in the second qualifier, where the best will make it through to Sunday's finals. In the meantime, the remainining horses will compete in the three consolation classes Saturday.

Friday afternoon the popular Grand Prix (150 cm) FEI Zangersheide Sires of the World will be taking place. The class is open to licensed stallions.
