New guidelines for WBCYH in Ermelo 2018

The guidelines for the FEI-WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses effective as of January 2018 have now been approved and published.

The basic principles for entry include:

 

  • Entries are only possible by national federations
  • National federations that have WBFSH member studbooks operating in their country receive a quota per age group which is determined in close cooperation of the FEI and the WBFSH
  • The selection procedures for horses should be determined by the national federations in close cooperation with the studbooks in their country
  • The horses entered must achieve minimum eligibility requirements as a horse-athlete combination in that calendar year
  • In order to fill up the number of horses entered into each age category up to maximum 40, the FEI – in close cooperation with the WBFSH, the NF of the OC and the OC – may extend invitations for additional horses

 

The FEI-WBFSH World Dressage Breeding Championships for Young Horses 2018 take place in Ermelo, The Netherlands from 2nd to 5th August 2018.
