Department Finance
Accounts Receivable and Account Payable administration is the organization's Financial Department's responsibility. Such activities include an audit of compliance with the items added to the budget after approval in the General Meeting.

The WBFSH's working capital is primarily provided by the members' subscription fees. The total number of foals in the studbook is the basis for calculating such membership fees.
Calculations are as follows:
1.  For full members: A flat amount of €1,000.00, increased with €1,00 for each foal over one thousand. For this purpose the data on foals for the past year are used, or the data of the best year should no data be available for the past year. The maximum amount payable by country is €25,000.00.
2.  For associated members: €500.00.
Should no data be transmitted for a studbook of an associated member, a flat fee of €3,500 will be charged. The invoice will be corrected on the basis of any data sent at a later date.

The letter requesting the data on the foals is sent shortly after January 1, of any business year. Invoices for the membership fees are sent around April.

Department Cooperation
The Department Cooperation is managed by the German Equestrian Federation (FN) on behalf of the WBFSH. Main task is to coordinate and stimulate the external and internal cooperation of the WBFSH. This means to represent - together with the other departments - the common interest of the sport horse breeding world to relevant international organizations, such as agricultural and equestrian organizations like the FEI and to the Commission of the European Union. The Department Cooperation is presently chairing the Executive Committee.
